The Flatiron District is a small area in midtown Manhattan, New York. The Flatiron District is named after the Flatiron Building. Prior to being renamed, the same general area had been referred to as the Photo District due to the large number of photographers' studios and associated businesses located in this part of Manhattan.

The Flatiron District is a convenient central location and is a popular location to live and work. Located on the east side of Manhattan, the neighborhood's real estate extends from 14th Street to 23rd Street and is bounded by Park Avenue South to the East and 6th Avenue to the West. Their are many luxury apartments to buy or rent in the Flatiron District.

The Flatiron District houses four parks and the buildings are inspired by gothic, roman and classical styles.  The Flatiron has found a new interest since prestigious shops and trendy cafes have opened there.

The Flatiron District is also known for its large luxury real estate which boasts huge, airy lofts and magnificent apartments.
